1935 MILLS 5c QT DIAL TRADE STIMULATOR - One of the scarcest QT models, produced between 1935 and 1940. It has a very unique design, an airplane overlooking a map of the world which it "circumnavigates" as the world rotates as winners are hit. Since it is a trade stimulator, no coin or token payouts are made. "Winnings" are kept track of by the counter (which works as it should) and can be used by simply playing the machine without a coin or asking the operator to pay you off (and he would reset the counter to 0 using the knob on the back of the machine. This trade stimulator comes with original QT locks/keys for both the front/back doors and a Mills cash box and plays well. The case has been restored and the front casting repainted. The reel strips are original although a little dirty. The award card is a reproduction. This particular model comes with a mint vendor that pays out a roll of mints for every 5c played by turning the knob on the vendor. The Mills mint rolls in the vendor and its lock are reproductions. It would make a great addition to any collection.
