25c Skelly / Pace "Candy Boy" 1926, here's one you don't see very often - previously restored with added functioning jackpot. New reel strips, award card, cashbox, ace lock and key. Polished castings, not plated. Beautiful oak stained cabinet. Very nice machine for being 100-years-old.
A little history about this machine: Ed Pace bought the Skelly Manufacturing Company from Tom Skelly back in the early twenty's (it was said that he won the money to buy out Tom Skelly in a card game playing against a Mills and Jennings sales representatives). The Candy Boy never had a jackpot from the factory, this was something that was added later to compete with other jackpot machines of that time, thus, making more money for the operaters.
If you would like additional pictures or information on this machine or any of my other items - don' t hesitate to call me at 703-906-8389. I can email pictures and additional info to you right away.
